M.S. Brislin, Jr., who brought Carrier air
conditioning equipment into the Golden Triangle
area, founded Brislin Inc. in 1956. In 1984,
ownership changed to M.S. Brislin III, and a
concerted effort was made to attract larger
commercial and industrial clients. Five years
later, Brislin expanded to enter the commercial
plumbing and process piping markets. To date,
Brislin’s annual volume of work in the
heating, air conditioning, plumbing, and process
piping industry exceeds six million dollars.

M.S. Brislin III; vice-president, Quinn Brislin;
and secretary/treasurer, Jelois Weeks. Brislin
has 75 employees working as pipe fitters/welders,

To ensure proper operation of the heating and
cooling equipment to its clients, Brislin has
a service department led by Mickey Brislin.
The service department handles maintenance contracts,
start-up on new air conditioning and heating
installations, and service calls on mechanical
equipment. Larry Otts manages Brislin’s
residential sales and serves as the safety compliance
officer. With many years of mechanical construction
experience, Leroy Parker estimates costs on
commercial and industrial jobs and coordinates
construction projects. To provide mechanical
design to commercial and industrial clients,
Mickey Brislin, Quinn Brislin, and Leroy Parker
oversee the mechanical engineering department.
Jelois Weeks, Karen Thornton, and Debbie Betts
provide Brislin Inc. with office management
that includes bookkeeping, accounting service,
and construction management duties.
